5 years,  after running my own florist  business for 20 years.

How did you land up teaching at Boerma Instituut?
I was forced by Jacqueline Boerma....! No, just teasing. I was a

former pupil of Theo Boerma. When I stopped my floristry business,

Theo approached me with the proposal to teach at his school, which I

found to be tremendously great.

And, what did you do before joining the Boerma team?
As I mentioned earlier, I owned a beautiful and 'fun' florist shop for 20 years. Further, all other things I have done I am definitely not telling... ☺.

You teach at a school of floristry ; how would you describe your skills

and knowledge on the art?
I have had years of practical experience and trained at the RMTS Aalsmeer (State Agricultural College, which is the present day, Wellant College)

What would be your personal favourite floral arrangement?
It would have to be something with flowers, not too much fills and fancies. Thus, with very little or no un-natural materials at all.

In love, engaged, married or what?
Living together with a very loving man. 

Have you got children?
Yes, my boy-friend has a daughter and a son. I am a weekend father.

Have you got any hobbies besides Boerma Instituut?
Now, now, what ???? The Boerma Instituut , Hobby??? I like to swim, riding around on my motor-bike and just enjoying life.

What is your favourite holiday destination?
Scandinavia, it can also be Spain. Depends on the mood of the moment.

 What is your favourite food?
Everything.
