Table Arrangement Course

Afternoon Course...

In response to the many inquires and requests for a course in table arrangements from both home managers and professional florists, we have decided to introduce this course.

The growing interest in home interiors is the main factor that so many floral enthusiasts alike feel the need to develop their skills and technique in this area of floral arrangement.

This 3 day course will feature 3 different types of table arrangements; each with its own techniques and challenges.

Spring Course...

During the Spring Course the following subjects will be made:

1st .Afternoon: A seemingly playful way to present the 'vernal season'  Table decoration with all the aspects of Spring, New life and Fresh Beginnings.

2nd Afternoon: Hand-tied bouquet in a frame. We begin with a rather difficult spiral method, hand-tied bouquet in which all the materials are incorporated into a frame. To finish it completely, the bouquet will have to fit into a matching vase

3rd Afternoon: Japanese Sushi. Not exactly the most tasty edible kind, but certainly very yummy and ‘oichi’ as they say in Japanese. Rather attractive and certainly the topic of conversation decorating the real thing on a large plate.
So desa.

Autumn Course...

During the Autumn Course the following subjects will be made:

1st  Afternoon: Roundabout. An arrangement with a difference. This one is inside a bowl, open and it swirls around. Not your average table arrangement to look at but rather into. Zandthedescia, Calla lilies are used  to go the full circle.

2nd Afternoon: Autumn Wreath. For many, autumn or fall means wind, rain and storm. However, it is also the season of colourful foliage, orange and red berries and beautiful blooms in rich tints. With this harvest of warm coloured materials; the challenge is to create a special wreath to suit every interior and taste.

3rd Afternoon: Flower Tower. As finale, we take you ‘sky-high’ to literally create a floral tower to rise up from your coffee table or dressoir. Truly, a floral tower of Babel, rich, strong and diverse in one.
