As explained, Boerma Instituut provides for professional courses in Dutch Floral Design for more than 25 years now. Our Professional Dutch Floral Design Certificate Course is a short but intensive fulltime course, developed for people who want to be introduced in a professional way to the world of Dutch Floral Design.

Technique is what it’s all about during this course. Once you have developed your technique you will be able to create all sorts of arrangements. In the one week course there will be five intensive workshops.

...or a firm first step on the way to the Professional Diploma.

During Module 1 of this course you will visit Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer, the largest Flower Auction in the world, where millions of flowers are sold to destinations all over the world every day. 
You will also visit its wholesale centre Cultra.

For students who would like to continue after these first 5 days, we have more to do. Our Professional Courses are built up in modules. This means that when you have taken all (6) modules, you have reached the same level as the Professional Dutch Floral Design Diploma Course. After that you can, if desired, take our practical Examination to get your Diploma.

At the end of each Professional Dutch Floral Design Certificate Course the students will receive a Dutch Floral Design Certificate.

Every course day exists of 2 lesson units of 2 ½ hours each. 

Lesson hours are from 10.00-15.45  including breaks for coffee, tea and lunch. All important subjects are shown, made and repeated during the practical lessons.
