Private lessons are the best lessons to follow; they offer the best possibilities and the quickest results.

You can consider the course as an investment, which will repay quickly.

We advise to take Private lessons for three or more days. If your knowledge of flower arranging is limited or not even present at all, we would suggest this schedule:

Day 1:

• Care of cut flowers

• Technique and use of wire

• Various hand tied bouquets;

• Wire bound bouquet (biedermeier) as a preparation to bridal bouquets and corsages.

Day 2:

• Modern wire bound bridal bouquet

• Bouquet on oasis

• Corsages.

Day 3:

•  Various shapes of vases, bowls, table decorations, 'Dutch gardens', etc.

At the moment, these are the most important subjects. If a fourth and fifth day are added to the course, we strongly recommend to go deeper into the matter and to repeat some parts in another form and with different materials to gain proficiency.

Included in the Course Fee for 1 or 2 days:

ü   All flowers, leaves, tools and other materials

ü   Coffee, tea and lunches inclusive soft drinks

ü   Boerma Instituut Dutch Floral Design Certificate.

Included in the Course Fee with a minimum of 3 days:

ü   Coloured brochures of bridal arrangements and other modern flower arrangements, which may be used as an example

ü   Excursion to the Aalsmeer Flower Auction and Cultra

ü   Boerma Instituut Dutch Floral Design Certificate.
